The gratification
Compulsory for internships lasting more than 2 months, carried out in metropolitan France and in certain overseas territories, i.e. 44 days or 308 hours of actual presence in a company (consecutive presence or not) during the same academic year.
If the internship takes place in the French public sector, the bonus is necessarily equal to the legal minimum amount.
The internship gratuity is not taxable on income, within the limit of the annual amount of the minimum growth wage.
WARNING : Please note that your gratuity is often updated on January 1st. Its calculation can be done on https://www.service-public.fr/simulateur/calcul/gratification-stagiaire
The bonus is monthly and must be paid each month, and not at the end of the internship, and is due from the 1st day of the internship. It therefore varies according to the number of days worked in the month.

You cannot start your internship without an internship agreement.
Internships can also take the form of a learning contract if you are already employed in this company.
AMENDMENT
An internship agreement is a contract that commits you to the host structure. It is therefore not possible to interrupt a course in progress, except in exceptional circumstances.
For all changes to an internship agreement, entering and signing an addendum is mandatory. Amendments are not available on the platform and must be signed in collaboration with your school.

INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP
If you are doing an internship abroad, the principle of territoriality in terms of reward is not applicable: Your internship may not be rewarded.
On the other hand, the duration of your internship cannot exceed 924 hours (including amendment) within the same company (even abroad) during the same academic year.
No agreement will be issued for courses located in red and orange zones. If your internship zone switches to a red zone, you must immediately end your internship.
Regularly consult the diplomatic and social situation of the areas close to your host company on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Diplomatic and social situation of foreign countries.
In any case, you have the option of registering on the government's Ariane database. You will then be able to be informed by email, or by sms, of any safety instructions.
If you stay more than six months in the host country, taking into account your time spent before and after the internship, you must register in the Register of French nationals living outside France with the French consular authorities (General consulate or section embassy consular).
You must also complete the following appendix and attach it to your agreement: Internship abroad appendix sheet
HEALTH COVERAGE
For internships in Europe: You must bring the European health insurance card, the request is made to your primary health insurance fund (more information on the ameli.fr website).
For courses outside Europe: remember to take out an additional assistance contract which guarantees the reimbursement of medical expenses incurred and repatriation in the event of serious illness or accident.
(Documents that must be returned to us with your internship agreement signed by all parties).
FINANCIAL AID FOR MOBILITY
There are some scholarships that will allow you to finance your internship abroad. Find out more from your international relations office on your campus, the Regional Council, Erasmus +.
