FOR EQUALITY IN EMPLOYMENT

Since October 2022, Université Côte d'Azur has signed an agreement with the NQT association (Our Neighborhoods Have Talent), which aims to facilitate the professional integration of young graduates.

This partnership offers students and alumni support in their work-study and job-seeking projects. Professional mentors from Côte d'Azur companies will be on hand to help create CVs, cover letters and, more generally, prepare job applications for the students being mentored.

 

Professional mentoring is a tool for professional and personal development. It's the sharing of experience and networks between a working professional, voluntarily committed to the cause, and a young graduate experiencing difficulties, to support them on their path to employment.


The strength of the NQT association lies in its system of mentoring, which enables young people to be given personalized support on the road to employment, in line with their career plans. Each young graduate who joins the NQT scheme is assigned a sponsor. As far as possible, NQT ensures that the apprentice's field of training corresponds to the field of expertise of the manager who supervises him or her.

 

The mentoring scheme developed by NQT has proved its worth: on average, 70% of the young people we follow up are recruited within 6 months, and at a level commensurate with their skills.
